How to download photos from TikTok
- 1
Open the photo post on TikTok
Photo posts are slideshows — multiple images instead of video. TikTok marks them with a gallery icon in the corner. The URL contains /photo/ instead of /video/, e.g. tiktok.com/@user/photo/12345…
- 2
Copy the link via Share
Share button under the post → Copy Link. Both the short vm.tiktok.com/… and the full URL with /photo/ work fine.
- 3
Paste the link into the form on this page
The service recognizes it's a slideshow and prepares all the images together — you don't have to download them one by one.
- 4
Get a ZIP archive with all photos
The archive contains every image from the carousel at original resolution, in JPEG. Every OS can unzip: Windows and macOS double-click, iPhone via Files app, Android via the system file manager or Samsung's My Files.
What's special about photo posts
All slides in source resolution
TikTok rescales photos to fit your screen — for downloads we pull the originals from CDN. Typically 1080×1920 or larger, depending on what the creator uploaded.
No logo, no UI
Clean JPEGs in the archive — no TikTok watermark, no like/share buttons, no app chrome around the image. Just the photos, as the creator originally posted them.
Music is separate
Photo posts on TikTok play with background audio. The slideshow is images, but the audio is also pullable — paste the same URL into the MP3 page to grab an M4A of the soundtrack. Mobile flow is in the iPhone guide.
Common questions about photo carousels
My link has /photo/ in it — is that a slideshow?
Yes — TikTok uses /photo/ for image posts. Regular videos use /video/. If your URL has /photo/, this page handles it and produces a ZIP.
I pasted a photo URL on a different page (mp3, hd, home) — what happens?
Nothing bad — the service auto-detects the post type and serves the right format. Photo URL on the homepage → ZIP. Photo URL on MP3 → just the slideshow audio. You don't need to hunt for the "correct" page.
Can I download a single photo from a carousel, not the whole set?
The ZIP is easier: unzip, pick the one you want. If you only want one, open the ZIP in your file manager, drag the single image out, delete the rest.
What resolution are the photos?
Usually 1080×1920 — TikTok's standard. If the creator uploaded from a camera or high-res iPhone, the originals can be larger. We pass through whatever CDN serves.
Is the caption included?
Captions are a separate field in TikTok — they're not embedded in the JPEG. Only the images go into the ZIP. Copy the caption manually from TikTok if you need it.
Is the music in the archive?
No, ZIP contains only photos. Grab the audio separately via the MP3 page with the same URL — you'll get an M4A of the carousel's soundtrack.
How do I unzip on iPhone?
iOS handles ZIP natively in the Files app — tap the archive → Preview contents. Or save to Files → long-press → Uncompress. From there, drag the photos into your Camera Roll. Full iPhone guide here.
What if the creator deleted the carousel?
If the post is gone from TikTok, the photos are gone too. Occasionally CDN caches linger for a while — worth a try if you grabbed the URL before deletion.
We pull original JPEG files straight from TikTok's CDN — no redrawing, no rescaling, no watermarks. The ZIP is assembled on the fly for convenience; the photos inside are exact copies of the source.
